Hello Tina;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
K-Y Jelly is a lubricating jelly and is inert meaning it does not react in anyway and so there is hardly any side effect.As for Xylocaine jelly it is an anaesthitic drug in jelly form and is used to reduce pain during intercourse and even to prolong ejaculation .The content of Xylocaine is Lignocaine and it does have serious side effects like respiratory depression;tremors dizziness;convulsions and even cardiac arrest but these side effects are seen in injectable form and in case of jelly if the person is allergic to the drug the side effects may occur but otherwise since the dose is very less the side effects are usually not seen as common occurring .
Hope that answers your query.
Thanks
