Is There Any Side Effects For Influenza Vaccination?

my child is 11 months old,she has got her first influenza vaccination dose at about 9 months,and she got loosemotions ;we have taken a lot of precautions to cure it by dietary habbits like stopped the milk products ;start giving soya milk ...lassi and all but it extended too about 1 and a half months then we decided to give her antibiotics..after that she get recovered after 2 weeks from her recovery;we went for second dose as docor said it to be done after one month but due her illness it extended to about 3 months;we got her vaccinated last week;but after one she again suffering from the same thing;as i asked doctor is this is related to vaccination he says no;but my strong feeling is that it is due to vaccination ;what you suugest and what kind of precautions we have to take

First i want you to assure you that flu vaccine will never cause any side effects. your daughters present complaints are in no way related to the vaccine.

Vomiting and loose stools are the frequent problems which alarm the parents and sometimes even the doctors. But we dont have to worry for the loose stools untill the child is well hydrated.It happens frequently because the child develops mouthing at this age i.e the baby puts everything in her mouth.

It is wise that you have stopped milk feeds. you can give her rice based foods in such situations.

Precautionary measures will be to follow basic hygenic habits like washing hands with soap and water every time before you nurse her. Keep the environment of the baby clean and tidy.

you can use hand sanitizer too.
