Respected Dr Tab Nexito Forte prescribed to my mother of age 67 yrs. Kindly advise the usage of this medicine, its side effects and how long it can b used. Also pls mention other information/your val8d advuses on it. Thanks.Sree Nair Kerala India

Hello,
Doctor has prescribed your mother nexito forte which contains two medicines escitalopram oxalate 10 mg and clonazepam 0.5 mg. which is used to treat depression,insomnia etc.This medicine may show some effects like nausea,drowsiness,lack of sleep,frequent urination and also some others.But you need not to worry about this.If she come across any problem or side effect with this medicine then consult your doctor so that he may think of better options.But now you should advise your mother to have this medicine in time as per your doctor and there is no fixed duration that this medicine should be used.It will depend on your doctors choice.
