hi i am a female boxer and want to take norethisterone to delay my period due to competition and having to be a certain weight, will i still retain water weight? will this cause any other issues, i only plan to take these leading up to the week of the tournament then once its finished will return back to normal

hi madam, welcome to HCG, i understand ur problem, norethisterone is used to postpone menstrual cycle, but u have to use this occasionally, side effects of norethisterone is gaining weight, pre periods, skin rashes, itching, dizzy, weakness, abdomen pain etc, hope u satisfy with my answer, thank u, THIS IS DR.
