my sister is in the eight month of pregnancy and she had an echo test of her baby she came to know that the babys artery is narrow from which the baby is not getting the blood supply and so the docs have not given any good hope she stays karachipakistan please do tell what should we do my sister is in eight month of pregnancy and she just had her baby s echo test and came to know that the baby s artery is thin and cannot get blood supply so the docs have not given any good hope we wanted to have a second opinion that is there any treatment for it she is in karachi and got her test done from agha khan hospital
The fetus is 8 months of gestation, since the artery supplying the fetus is thin , it will lead to placental, insufficiency , which will inturn lead to decresed growth of the fetus.. Repeat the USG scanning again, take the opion another gynaecologist nearby, at present the baby is healthy, she can continue the pregnancy for 2 more weeks and better to under go elective LSCS(cesarean section)...
