Is There Any Treatment To Regrow The Hair On Bald Places?
Hi Doc,
I am 27 yrs old and i have this hair loss problem for past 4 yrs. Now i am in a very pathetic situation of hair loss. I tried Biotic 500 etc. but nothing works out. Now i am using Indhulekha hair oil. I can see my hair fall got reduced. Is there any other way to regrow the hair on bald places.

It seems that you have Androgenetic alopecia which is genetically programmed patterned hair loss, and presents clinically as receding hair line and thinning of frontal and vertex of the scalp.
Treatment modalities include Topical Minoxodil 5% solution and oral finasteride(5 alpha reductase inhibitor). Their are well controlled trials and US FDA approval for them for this kind of hair loss in males.
However Minoxidil and finasteride can preserve existing hairs but they cannot regrow new hair on completely bald patches.
Hair transplant is the best and most reliable treatment modality and can provide cover to even completely bald patches of hair loss.
