Is There Chances Of Pregnancy Even After Taking Pills?

I saw my last period may 18th, expected the next within this past week... As at June 6th I took postinor-2 tablets because I had unprotected sex.. Now my period is late and I have cramps when I urinate and I also have thick white clumpy discharge with no odour, could I be pregnant still, if not then what is wrong?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Chances of pregnancy depend on when you took the pills, but it does not provide you with 100% protection from conception.

Although pregnancy will have to be ruled ourt, the pill itself can cause a temporary variation in the menstrual cycle which could be what you are experiencing. Conduct a home pregnancy test or consult your doctor after the second day of a missed period.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
