Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Smoking damages mucosa of throat, and chances of damage more during binge smoking. But mucosa used to repair within few days of abstinence. It is good that you had stopped smoking, so problem will solve in few days.

Same time smoking increases acidity and acid reflux which can also damage throat mucosa and lead to raw/dry feeling in throat. For that treatment with antiacidity medicines like pentoprazole may require in your case.

Wishing her good health and all the best.
