Is There Something To Be Worried About White Stool?

Hi, I have been producing white stools all day and I am not sure if this was the case yesterday. I was just wondering if or when I should see a doctor. Is it something that's worth a trip to the ER (considering that it is late and a weekend and I will not be able to contact my doctor for a few days)?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

White stools may indicate the presence of gallbladder disease. I would recommend that you get an ultrasound of your gallbladder to detect the problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman
