Is Thick Mucus With Brown Spotting A Sign Of Pregnancy?

I'm on cerazette and missed my pill for 3 days took it when I realised and missed it again for 2 days. I have had brown spotting . I had sex when I had missed my period. Also thick mucus was with brown spotting. I only noticed spotting upon wiping when using bathroom, is it possible I'm pregnant. Also I have slight cramping. Spotting lasted less than a day

Hi, I understand your concern. - You have not mentioned the time of spotting.. - The spotting following break in taking pills is due towithdrawal of hormones.In your case it seems to be more possible. The bleeding lasted only for a single day, as you restarted the pills after small break. - the bleeding around expected day of menses.. can be due to conception.( implantation bleeding ) * Irregular intake of oral contraceptive pills carries risk of conception.. so you have it. 1. You have to observe for your menses to start. If they are you escape. Please try to be very regular in taking oral contraceptive pills ( daily, at same time of day.) 2. If you have delayed period/ scanty bleeding... you should go for pregnancy test followed by MTP in case it's +ve. ( possibilities of fetal abnormalities are high with oral pills taken in spite of conception.) thanks.
