Is Thyroid Associated With Throat Pain And Difficulty In Swallowing?

Hi, I like to eat raw rice, per day I will eat 5grms app. Does it leads to thyroid? Now a days I am have little pain in my throat and feeling very difficult to eat or drink. Is the symptoms of thyroid? If so please help me to solve this.. Thank you,Tamil

Hello,

I do not think your symptoms suggest thyroid issue. This might be just a sore throat (Pharyngitis). Eating raw rice will not cause hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.

You can just do salt and warm water gargles thrice daily for symptoms relief along with paracetamol medicine, if pain not subsided.
