Is Thyroid Issues Related With High Bp And Temperature Changes?
Hello, my name is Diane, I have an underactive thyroid and take 50mcg of Levo. daily. However...I have severe reactions....extreme temperature changes....at night I wake up shivering under my blankets...or I wake up sweating...same thing through out the day but not as severe. I react strongly to almost everything.....and it is not a good reaction...shaky always...blood pressure goes high.. 140 / 95 (.mine is always low 110 / 67 )...pulse goes up high.... 75-80 ( mine is around 60 ). I ate a non-organic apple two days ago ( which had been washed ) and had a severe reaction....my body stiffened up...hard to breathe...extreme shaking in my legs....lasted maybe 5 minutes. Is this all related to my thyroid....perhaps my dose is not correct. Mahalo for your help

Diane i suggest to do the thyroid tests now that you are on 50 mcg Levothyroxine to understand if the dose needs to be corrected .For the severe reaction after eating an apple,i dont think is related withyour thyroid diseases.
