My wife and i were looking to conceive. They mentioned her blood test came back abnormal & they wanted to test her thyroid. Is that common testing or do you think there could be an issue past the norm testing process for someone who brings up they're trying to start a family?

Thyroid hormone testing is done in people who try to conceive.
Both excess or decrease in hormone can affect your conception and also cause abnormality in developing fetus.
However these conditions are correctable.
