Is Treatment For CML Needed After Blood Test Returns Normal?

HELLO DOCTOR.. MY SON 14YRS.OLD .. HE SUFFERRED FROM JAUNDICE.. IN THE MONTH OF APRIL. AFTER THAT HE STARTED LOOSING HIS WEIGHT. .. ON TEST OF BLOOD SAMPLE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE SIGN IS SHOWING "CML" .. AFTER BONE MARROW TEST DOCTOR CONFIRMED .. CML. AND STARTED GIVING ORAL MEDICINE.. FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS HE IS TAKING ORAL MEDICINE. NOW HIS BLOOD SAMPLE IS SHOWING EVERY THING NORMAL.. AND HE GAINED THE WEIGHT TOO.
NOW PLZZ GUIDE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO...
WHETHER TO GO FOR ANY SPECIAL TREATMENT . ?
OR KEEP CONTINUE THE ORAL MEDICINE..?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He is on treatment of CML. He should continue with his oral medicine if he is improving. No any special treatment is needed. Just hi gor regular blood test to monitor his count.
