helo how are you I am asma 32 year old. i have married in 2010 so 4 year of marriage life.i lived with y husband.but we have no child yet,i visited diferent gynalcologist.two year back i have hsg (tube test) which is normal means no blockages.and my husband semen alysis be nor mal range.but now again i met one another gynecologist she recommended tube wash.but she did not tell me why,coz i hve normal hsg test two year back.its so expensive as well here,so why needed again tube wash,so maam may i want to consult you as well is it necessary to wash my tune or go for iui.and also know the success rate of iui
Hi Ms. Asma, Tubal patency is best tested through laparoscopic chromotubation. Many-a-time, spontaneous conception occurs following such tubal procedures even without any further treatment. Since you already had a HSG with no negative result, you need not repeat it again if there is no history of any pelvic infection subsequently. Instead, I would ask you to assess ovulation pattern and try to follow fertile dates and if necessary, go for ovulation induction. You may also try IUI for added benefit. Hope this helps.
