hello doctor, my wife s 24 yrs old & i m married. My wife has tested postive for pregenency. Some of my friend has suggested us to take unwanted Kit. Does it really work . Will be there be any side effects????...Please suggest My wife is 24 yrs old, 56 kgs, 5 5 height ..... has been 5 weeks of pregnancy .. she can take unwanted kit.. plz tell me
Hi It is not safe to take unwanted kit without consulting a gynecologist. There is a risk of serious side effects like severe vaginal bleeding, abdominal cramps, infection or incomplete abortion. Before taking this kit, an abdominal ultrasound scan should be done to find out the exact duration of pregnancy (it should be less than 7 weeks) and its location (it should be within the uterus or womb). Severe bleeding and cramps can in case of ectopic pregnancy.
So, in view of these possible side effects, your wife should consult a gynecologist for proper assessment and possible use of drugs to induce abortion.
Hope this answers your query.
