Is Use Of Cortisone And Steroids To Clean Nasal Passages Good?

my past dr use to dip cortizone and steroids on a q tip and insert it into my nasal passages and within 6 minutes they would start to drain, then an antiboitic and iwas better in no time. drs now look at me with ? when i tell them , is this an out dated practice?

now we have well advanced sprays that reach corners of ur nose .
this is not usually practiced .
cortisone is also steroid.
for cleaning saline nasal wash is better
