Is Using Pacato Inspite Of Applied Area Developing Red Blisters Safe?

Hello started treatment on my cheeks jaw and forehead with Pacato cream 1.015% per my dermatologist. After second treatment all treated areas red blister covered. A picture of mild to severe reactions was provided and I would say I m extreme severe. Now my dermatologist wants me to complete the application with the third tube and I am very apprehensive. It s very expensive and I don t know what to do she is persistent on using last application. Male 54 years old diagnosis was actinic keratosis.

Hi,

Picato do causes inflammation and some redness at the site of application. Rather it's quite common with this.

However, it should not be stopped for this reason. I think your doctor is very right, you should continue to complete the treatment as actnic keratosis has potentials to lead to more serious skin problems.

So it's necessary to complete the course.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
