Is Using Progesterone Cream Safe If Periods Are Delayed?

I was recently told I had a low level of progesterone (6.8 on cd21 of last cycle) which makes sense considering I have been TTC for 2 years since a tubal reversal. I have gotten a bfp 3 times, 2 of which ended in early miscarriages and the most recent an ectopic. I am now 5 days late but got a bfn on a hpt. Just wondering if I should use progesterone cream.

It is another roll of the dice.
The cream is completely absorbed and gives a significant amount of overall progesterone. There is not that much special about it. BUT, changing a formulation or dose or route or rate or other parameter changes the way the drug interacts with someone.
