I am a 20 yr old female, 170 lbs, 5'9". I have a concern about inheriting uterine fibriod tumors. On my fathers side: my great grandmother had uterine fibriod tumors, her two daughters (my great aunt and grandmother) had them, and my aunt had them which all resulted in a hysterectomy around the age of 30. I want to know the possibility of inheriting it and how it will affect child bearing and the age I should consider to start having children.

Fibroid tumor in uterine cavity is not the inherited and this is very common condition seen in female, and the condition is treatable and chances of conception is still there some time if you do not have this condition then no need to worry about this, take care.
