My vitamin d level is 33, is that normal? I have lots of medical problems. Drink iodine 20 some years to destroy thyroid because of hyperthyroidism. Thyroid regulated okay right now. Post breast cancer four years ago, lumpectomy with chemotherapy and radiation. Now have osteoporosis.
Hello, Relax and do not concern much about Vitamin D level. You have not mentioned the unit of Vitamin D level. Normal Vitamin D level is 15-60 pg/ml (38-150 pmol/L in SI Units)...so your 33 level is slightly lower side, if SI units are there... You just need to be exposed more to sunlight between 9.00 am to 10.30 am.....and with that you also need to take calcium rich diet, which will boost your bones and osteoporosis can be avoided.
