Is White Discharge With Red Spotting On The First Day Of Taking Clingen Vaginally A Normal Bodily Response At 4 Months Of Pregnancy?

Hi.. I am 4 months pregnant i am advised to take clingen capsule in vagina for 7 days for white discharge with brown spotting sometime.. Today i took it for first time, some medicinal discharge after 1 hr and some white discharge again with red brown spotting.. is it normal ?

Hello,

You are prescribed Clingen vaginal capsules to be applied in your vagina for 7 days to get rid of infection. Clingen Forte vaginal capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Inform uncomfortable symptoms to your treating doctor. Maintain hygiene, and keep your genital area clean. Wash the area with antibacterial soap and take bath regularly.

Avoid sexual intercourse with your partner as that may be an easy route to infection. You are 4 months pregnant, be gentle with yourself. Clingen Forte vaginal capsule may cause side effects like mild irritation and burning sensation at the application site. It may cause allergic reactions like itching, rashes, swelling, shortness of breath, in case of such symptoms you are advised to visit ER or contact your treating doctor.
