Is Zero Sperm Count Permanent In Case Of Smoking And Drinking?
hi ... I am 38 yrs old, smoke 4-5 fags, drinks 2-3 pegs at least 4 times a week, swim twice a week but follow it with long steam and sauna sessions... We are trying to get IVF done with donor s egg and hence got semen analysis done. As expected, results are very dejecting...sperm count is zero. Doctor checked testis and said he can still be able to extract sperms from testis. Is this going to be permanant now? Can i never be able to ejaculate sperm along with semen?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have azoospermia. You should go fructose test and testicular biopsy. If you have obstrctive azoospermia then it can be treated by treating obstruction. simple surgery will help you to cure the condition. If you don't have production of sperm cell then its permanent. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
