Itchiness In Throat, Eyes And Nose, Cough, Choked Feeling
Hi my name is XXXXXX I m 42 ,and I started experiencing itchy throat eyes and nose and feeling like I need to cough up something or clear my throat all day long and it feels like something is in my throat but won t come out, what do you think I have?
Seems like you have an allergic condition. Do you have a family history of allergies? Have you suffered from attacks of asthma in the past? Do you have pets at home ? This could be one of the causes of allergies. Or a sudden change in the weather ? Vaccuum the house regularly to keep away the dust etc. Use a mask to cover your nose and mouth while cleaning/ dusting the house. Do you have any fever/sore throat/ cough with productive sputum? If yes, please visit your physician. If no, you could try taking a medicine Lee-cet(levocetirizine ) 5 mg at night for 5 days(If you do not have any past history of drug allergies). This drug might cause slight drowsiness , so avoid driving and operating heavy machinery while on medication. Drink warm water at regular intervals, it might soothe the irrritating cough. You could also try having a teaspoon of honey mixed with a pinch of pepper powder . Hope you feel better soon :)
