Itching In Labia Area. Deworming Done. Itching Persistent With Bumps. Is It Herpes?

Hi. The last time I had sex was in January 2012. Now is May 2013. Last week I notice that my butt was itching very badly. I thought it was worms and I drank a worming out tablet. At that time too, I notice some bumps right at the bottom where the labia minor starts. I was worry and wonder if the worms was making these bumps and that why i tool the worming medicine. Now the bumps had move up all around my Labia minor top and bottom but on the inner part and not where the hair follicle are and sometime they itch but no blistering until I really itch it and then go and pee . Can you tell me that this is not herpes please.

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
I can understand your great concern regarding the bump. To reassure you regarding herpes, it never presents as you have described it. Herpes presents as fluid filled vesicles which are very fragile and bursts up in a day or two. After that it leaves a raw area which heals in 5-7 days. So kindly reassure yourself regarding any possibility of herpes.
Now it appears from your query that you have the swelling because of some other etiology. So it is best to consult a gynecologist at the earliest who can guide you best for this problem and its solution. Meanwhile do not scratch or disturb the area by pinching or pressing it and do not try any self medications,.
Hope it helps.
with good health wishes,
