Itchy Blisters After Injections, Removing Band Aids From Knee. Swabbed With Alcohol, Feels Like Poison Ivy. Cause?

I had some injections around my left knee yesterday and today I removed some bandaids.
Later today I found a row of blisters, itchy, as if left from the edge of a bandaid. Somewhat edamatous , slightly warm
am elevating, swabbed it with alcohol. Feels kind of like poison ivy, but, have not ben near any. Could it be from
the nurses hands ? I'm concerned because of the HA and other injections. thanks

Hi dear

Welcome to the board of Health care magic.

As you have described in the query. It appears to me a simple band aid allergy which is quite common. Itchy ness confirms the allergic element.

Please clean it with some antiseptic lotion. If itching is too much you can use some mild steroidal cream.

This should heal in 4 or 5 days, provided there is no added infection.

Hope your query is answered with your satisfaction and is useful to you.

Thanks
