Itchy Blotchy Welts Under Breasts And On Upper Inner Thighs. Dermatologist Advised To Use Canesten. What Can I Do To Get Rid Of This?
I have been having itchy blotchy 'welts' under my breasts and on my upper inner thighs. My doctor GP and my dermatologist said to use Canesten........it is not working. I have tried Cortizone creams, Vagasil and zinc. These may work for a day or two but then it comes back. This has been going on since last May......what can I do to get rid of this once and for all. Is ther something over the counter ithat I can use? I am traveling down in the states from Canada and going to a local doctor is very expensive. Thanks.......Martha
You seem to be having Tinea Versicolor, that is widespread fungal infection. Applications of combination of antifungal and steroid like Clotrimazole+Betamethasone(Candid will help. Also oral antifungal Flucanazole once a week for four weeks may be helpful. Get back back to Healthcare-Magic with clinical picture of lesion so that diagnosis is confirmed by panel of our doctors.
