Itchy Face With Scab On Cheek. History Of Precancerous Scab Removal From Nose Caused Due To Sunburn. Possible Sign Of Skin Cancer?
my face has become very itchy and and a scab has formed on my cheek. I made an appointment with a dermatologist but I have to wait two months to be seen. Is the scab a sign on skin cancer? Four years I had one that was precancerous removed from my nose. That was caused by a severe sunburn I received ten years previously.
Hello, Thanks for the query. Yes there is chance that this lesion can be cancerous,
As you have a tendency to develop precancerous lesion.
Cancerous lesions can present in any form,
So a particular description is difficult.
I would advice yo to keep a close watch on the lesion.
If it increases in size you should immediately meet a doctor,
Else you can wait 2 months.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
