Itchy Legs, Scratched Them, Large Dark Bruise Formed On It With White Circle In The Middle. Causes?

Hi. A few weeks ago I had a ridiculously itchy leg so I scratched it, not even half an hour later it had turned into a massive black bruise about the size of a tennis ball, it had a real white circle in the middle and was painfully itchy. It finally went away after about 2 weeks but last week exactly the same thing happened on another leg. What could it be?

Hi,

You are having bruise.. A patch of purpura.

There may be many cause..trauma,infection,blood disases, vascultitis, senile,
connective tissue diseases,drugs,sun rays..etc.

In your case, it may be trauma..excessive scratching.

Take antihistaminics to relieve itching.

Take vitamin C and K .

Apply thrombophob oint.

If it is relapsing, you may consult dermatologist and go for investigations to have perfect diagnosis.
