Itchy Throat, Coughing. Having Ricola Cough Drops. What Could Be This?
I have this itchy throat. I can cough like crazy 10 times in a row and start to sweat. No headache, ear infection, runny nose or itching of the eye. Just plain itchy throat, coughing and it produces mucus... It happens twice a day and Ricola cough drops helps... Never experienced it before like this. Since Monday. An answer would be a relief.

You Have itchy throat and cough like crazy 10 times in a row and start to sweat. These all suggestive of acute pharyngitis. Ricola cough drop is herbal drugs. Better to consult ENT specialist .

This could be secondary to a viral infection,or it may be a allergic reaction to a environmental allergen.Rarely bacterial infections may also occur like this.A check up by your PCP /doctor will help identify the allergy or viral infection.
