Jammed The Left Arm While Bracing For A Fall

I jammed my left arm while bracing for a fall this morning. There was pain immediately and I was nauseous. Now I have a very difficult time raising my arm and have to lift it with my right arm. I have been moving the arm throughout the day so it won't "freeze up". Is this something that should heal over time? Should I support it with a sling? Ice or heat?

Hello!
Its better to go to emergency ward and make X-ray
All injuries need cold (ice through towel), rest (sling - You are right)
