Joint And Chest Pain, Painful Breath. Done Echo And EKG. What Is The Reason?

I'm 21 years old and in good physical condition. I'm an avid runner and I also do supplement free body building. With that said every now so often when I take a deep breath I feel and in a way hear a pop somewhere around my upper chest. It doesn't hurt or anything and it's almost like when a joint pops or something. I have had echo done and EKG and all came back good. What is this I may be experiencing?

Hello user
I would like to ask you if that pop happens with every breath or one or two times in a day !!

If its happening with every breath, then it might be due to some mechanical issues with your rib joint.

If it happens a few times and there is no complains associated with it, then it might be just normal. You are advised to rather have a X-ray or CAT scan of your thorax region to check for any mechanical cause, otherwise you have a athletic body, which doesn't need much attention.

Hope my advise helped you.
