Kids Suffering From Cough, Conjunctivitis, Fever And Hives. What To Do?

Our son and daughter are sick. 3 year old female presents with symptoms of cough , conjunctivitis , with slight fever 99 degrees. 9 year old male presents with cough, and hives only at night- hives appear in 2 diameter patches all over body. Mother has been sick with a cough for over a week. Has been working in an elementary school.

Your daughter is suffering from a viral illness which presented as cough, conjuctivitis.

For fever you can give paracetamol in prescribed dosage.

Clean her eyes with a soft, clean and wet cloth with using sterile water.

For your son hives, you can apply a calamine containing lotion externally over skin for soothing effect.

If there is itching, you can give an oral antihistamine like cetirizine or hydroxyzine in prescribed dose.

And I advise you to consult the Pediatrician for the examination of your children and for the prescription of specific medication.
