Late Period. Have Copper Coil. Negative Pregnancy Test. Spotting, Cramping, Tender Breasts
I'm seven weeks late for my period, I have the copper coil in place and my last period was 6 weeks late. I took a test about 3 weeks ago which was negative and have had some slight spotting and cramping feelings like my period was about to start but nothing has happened since. I have no other symptoms though this evening my breasts do feel a little tender.
hello, after reading your history i can tell you that chances of pregnancy are less but the symptoms you are mentioned may be due to the infection of the copper coil.So just consult your gynic doctor so that they will check the position of your copper coil and may be if required as infection is more they may remove it and keep you on antibiotics for few days.Thank you.
Hi, you are late by 6 weeks for your period, and had spotting. As you have a copper coil, it might be due to infection or anemia. If the coil is of more than 3 years of duration, it expires and may be loose its efficacy, so if it is more than 3 years get it changed. I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe hematinics, fluconazole, and cifixime. Thank you.
