hi, so I had a really late period it was twelve late, after having sex like the day after ovulating and then horrible cramps very low in front and right side of my lower back along with nausea...!! so then i had spotting one night then nothing for a while day. then i had about an hour of normal bleeding "period like" then it went back to being light. now my periods been over and three days later ive had slight cramps, and now im always tired. always hungry. and have weird bubbly movement in my tummy along with light brown discharge. is it possible im pregnant? i took a test prior to period like bleeding.
Hi, Thanks for the query. As you had intercourse around the time of ovulation, the possibility of the pregnancy can not be excluded. At the same time, just by symptoms and delayed periods we can not come to one conclusion regarding pregnancy. In case of pregnancy, the minimal bleeding you had could be implantation bleeding. In the absence of pregnancy, that bleeding could be due to hormonal cause. So, you once go for blood test for pregnancy. If the test comes negative, the possibility of pregnancy is very less. Then you can consult gynecologist, get examined and can take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding with her help. At the same time you can take symptomatic treatment. If the test comes positive, go for ultrasound and then proceed according to your doctor's advice. Take care.
