Late Period, Taken Pill. Change In Color Of Discharge. Side Effects Of Pill Or Pregnant?

Hi,
I was recently sexually active on May 26th, and I took the Next Choice one dose pill later that day about 12 hours later. I have been having some cramping and a slight change in my discharge (clear, whitish color). I was expecting my period on the 5th of June, but it is late. Could this be a side effect of the pill, or am I pregnant? How much longer should I wait before taking a pregnancy test?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The chances of pregnancy are always there with unprotected sex.
In your case chances of pregnancy are less because you had emergency pill, these changes may be because of pills, you should wait for 1week if period doesn't come go and consult a gynaecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy.
