Left Arm Injury To Soft Tissue, Injury Wrist. X-ray Shows Lunar Bone Withering. Treatment?
i had a fall from the top of a ladder and struck my left hand above the elbow . accident happened 3mnths ago. was told by orthopaedic dr only soft tissue injury , have no strength in left wrist . Went to another dr and got new xray and told the lunar bone in wrist is withering away. what causes this and what can be done to rectify this ?
it is very difficult to comment about this condition without getting x ray. I would suggest you to get x ray and if possible MRI and show it to doctor. If there is little damage to lunate bone then it can be corrected through arthroscopy. if it is totally damage then it will need excision. it would be better if you get these tests early. You can also send these reports to me through this forum.
