Left Ovary Follicle Was 24*19 & It Is Ruptured And There Is Free Liquid

I went for follicle study and on day 11, Left ovary follicle was 24*19 and on day 13 my radiologist said it is ruptured and there was free fluid. So when does the rupture of follicle would have happened. And what are the chances of pregnancy if there was contact with the partner on day 12 and 13?

Hi,

I think that the rupture of follicle may have occurred on day day 11 itself or day 12, so the chances of pregnancy are about 50 to 60 percent if you intercourse on day 12 or 13.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
