Left Shin Hurt And Swollen, Unable To Lift Or Bend Leg. Getting Relief After Applying Ice

i I hit the area where my left shin meets my left knee, VERY hard on the edge of a flat piece of metal yesterday. The area of contact is still swollen and it hurts to bend and lift my leg. I m applying ice and it provides very brief relief. Should I worry???

Hi,dear.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
There is nothing to be worried about it.The swelling will reduce gradually.Try not to put to much weight while walking on the affected leg.You can apply ice,it will help in recovery.It takes sometime for our body to self heal,but it will be fine.
So do not panic,keep calm.Take rest,apply ice and do not exert pressure.You will be fine.
