Left Testicle Larger Than Right In 8 Month Old Baby, What Could Be The Reason ?

My 8month old grandson has recently been hospitalized with RSV. He has had previous breathing problems(about 2months prior to being dx with RSV)Has been in the hospital for 3 days and appears to be getting worse instead of better... pathologist says there may be something different growing in his lungs...now his left testicle is 3x as large as the right(has not been on IV)taking fluids po only..Why could his testicle be larger....very worried Grandma.

He could be having a congenital hydrocele or hernia. It would be best to get it examined by his Doctor and get it treated, would require Surgery. Breathing problems and cough can aggravate the hydrocele making it bigger at the time, which is why you probably noticed it now.
