Leg Aches, Tingle While Sleeping At Night Everyday. Overweight. Possible Reasons?

I am 58 years old and most nights when I lie down for the night my legs begin to ache and tingle, only the backs of my legs.
I've tried to figure this out, not drink wine, drink wine, exercise, not exercise. I admit I am about 20 pounds overweight but...
It happens nearly every night, no matter the circumstances or what I am doing during the day.
It keeps me awake . Any ideas?
