Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The change in color in the area of injury is suggestive of a hematoma formation due to soft tissue injury. It is best to get the blood work done as advised to detect any blood related disorder.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
