Leg Hurt After Falling Backwards Down Concrete Steps. Severe Pain, Bruise On Shin. Chipped Bone?

I had a fall, backwards down 6 concrete steps, banged my right leg severely 9 days ago. I am still experiencing very bad pain in my shin above ankle. There is a small but light bruise and Ican weight bear but whole leg aches awfully, and if area is touched pain is unbearable. Is it a chipped bone? What treatment would they give?

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Presence of excruciating pain and inability to bear weight I would consider the possibility of fracture and rule it out by an x-ray. If there is a fracture it can be treated by plaster of Paris cast.

Wishing you a healthy life and speedy recovery

Take care
