Sir, our problem now is. since she begin to take this injection her body restricted to sex and sometimes its look like i m forcing her which is not suitable for a couples...if i may ask does this injection reduce a woman desire for sex? and what can we do to rectify this as we are faithful couples.....thanks.
Many women report having decreased sexual desire after taking long acting progesterone injections, which is what your wife seems to be taking. Many women also find sex painful after these injections, further decreases their desire. In my opinion, since you have completed your family, go for permanent methods for contraception which are safer and more effective than pills or injections. In my opinion, you should consider getting a vasectomy as it is a very minor surgery compared to sterilization surgery in women. If you both do not wish to go for permanent methods, then she can try oral contraceptive pills or intra-uterine devices instead of progesterone injections.
Best wishes.
