Life Expectancy After Hiv Infection

hi doc... i had an intercourse with someone 4 mnths. back.. now 15 days before i gotta boils on my penis beneath skin, i used betadine to cure it now its healed. I then got myself Hiv+ test and m afraid its +ve. The obcerved value i got was 203 which i cudnt understand.. I did it with protection but it got burst. I need to knw how much time i am left with. I am juzt 24 yrs. Please help me i had many dreams for my family which are getting shattered one by one.

Hi, don't worry just be relaxed. First you need to confirm that you have hiv or not. Go for confirmatory hiv testing once. you can go with p24 antigen or pcr. and then after result of the test you get idea whether you are infected or not. and then take treatment accordingly. evenif the you find it positive then also no need to worry. drugs are available if you take it regularly then you have almost normal life.so don't worry.
