Dear ophthalmologist , I am a nearsighted 18 years old guy and love doing bodyweight training . As far as I am concerned , lifting weights harms your eyes . Is this true for bodyweight exercises such as pull ups , chin ups , handstands and stuff like this ? Because recently I had a burst blood vessel in my eye because of handstands ( it was my first time trying to do those handstands ) . I really want to have good eyes ! What do you suggest me ?
