Light Bleeding Unlike A Period. Have Had Unprotected Intercourse. What Could This Mean?
Hi there, sorry to bother you. I just wanted to check something as I'm a little worried. The start of my last menstrual cycle was around the 4th of November. I had unprotected sex on the eve of the 12th and I bought the morning after pill on the 13th. I had sex again using a condom for contraception on the 19th and the next morning I was bleeding it covered my underwear but not like my period would. It was lighter than a period but for the next two days each time I wiped myself there was blood. Do you know why this could be. Thank you
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The slight mid cycle bleeding after having an unprotected sex could be due to a mild hormonal imbalance or a vigorous sex. This is not suggestive of pregnancy. You will have wait till your next periods to test the urine. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
