Light Red Parts In Stool, In Solid Form, Undigested Particles. Possibility Of Bleeding In Intestine?
Hi, i just saw light red parts in my stool though most of my feces is light brown. They are also solid in form. I also saw watermelon seeds which i ate yesterday. What may have caused such red part? Isit possible that i have bleeding in my intestine? Also, i just had my annual physical exam last month and the results show that i have UTI . Is this a factor? Tnx
I really appreciate your concern, it might not be the blood in your stool and it can not be confirmed without gross clinical examination or laboratory testing, most of the time it might be the diet you have taken that gives such appearance of stool, to clear the doubt of blood in stool you have to send the stool for laboratory testing.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Akhtar Husain,
