Lightheadedness And Dizziness. Tingling In The Arm, Vertigo, Pressure In The Head, Blood With Metallic Smell. Cause?
This morning I woke up feeling light headed and dizzy. I almost felt drunk. Couldn't walk straight, see straight unless my head was still and had slurred speech. on my way to urgent care I started getting a sharp tingling sensation in my right arm. When I got there they told me I was having a episode of vertigo. Went home and slept for 3 hours. I woke up and I have a lot of head pressure, my body feels beyond weak and sore and my right arm hurts. I also noticed the other day that my blood has a strong metallic smell to it. Whats going on with my body?
Hello Friend Welcome to H.C.M With little information and as per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with acute labrinthitis. you should take absolute bed rest. start broad spectrum antibiotic and anti vertigo drugs ( Betahistine 16 mg twice daily for atleast one week. But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer. With best wishes for a speedy cure Yours sincerely The Health Caremagic Medical Team
