Lip Peeling And Burning, Swollen, White Blister And Redness. What Can This Be?

Hi..im very concern a couple of days ago my upper lip starting peeling .and burning then i got some chap stick for my lips to moister it to keep it from being dry and chapped but then one morning i woked up with my upper lip feeling kinda swollen so i so i pic so i flipped back my upper lip and it has this white blister like in the middle and around it its red but doesnt hurts when i touch it just burns when my lips get dry ..so what can this be

Hi,

It seems that you are having cheilitis with herpes simplex.

Cheilitis may be due to sunexposure, cosmetics,dental cream, vitamin deficiencies, internal diseases .. So on

It seems that you are immunologically deprived.

Herpes simplex labialis , a viral diseae due to HSV virus.

There may be secondary bacterial infection also.

Contact with suspected agents may be avoided.

Antibiotic and antiviral tablets may be taken.

Local antibiotic cream and antiviral cream like acyclovir cream may be applied.

For cheilitis, local mild steroid cream may be applied.

You will be alright.
